"I received my piccolo yesterday.  The work you did was unbelievable!  I sent you "a piece of wood and a small pile of metal" and you turned it into a beautiful instrument.
Thank you again for the unbelievable work.  You are truly blessed with amazing talent and excellent skill.

    Repad

Every piccolo repair will be executed by our master piccolo technician with over forty years experience in piccolo repair and performance.  A  piccolo Repad at the Musical Instrument Repair Shop includes the complete disassembly of all keywork from the body of the piccolo followed by a thorough cleaning of all keys, rods, pivot screws, springs, tone holes, body surfaces and the entire piccolo bore.  All new pads are then installed using only premium quality pads which are centered in key cups and aligned and leveled over tone holes in the final assembly.  The keywork is carefully lubricated and the pad seating process is done.   Once the seating process is complete the piccolo repair  is play tested.  After 48 hours the pad seat retention is checked and a final play test is performed prior to return shipping to you, our customer.
