Because musical instruments are particularly fragile special care needs to
be taken in packing for shipment. The case offers some protection
however damage may occur if additional packing materials are not applied.
First establish that there is no play for the instrument in the case, if
there is add bubble wrap or crumpled newspaper in the case where needed.
Also be sure to place in the case the repair instructions,
the 50% deposit, either check or money order,
the return shipping address and email address or you may make your deposit
via PayPal. Then be sure the box selected is large enough so packing
material (bubble wrap, crumpled newspaper, foam peanuts) can surround all
the sides of the instrument case tightly so that no shifting will occur
while in transit. We suggest purchasing shipping insurance for the
replacement value of your instrument as the Musical Instrument Repair Shop
will always require shipping insurance for the replacement value of your
instrument upon return shipping to you, our customer.
